Osteuropa Kolleg NRW

The Osteuropa Kolleg NRW brings together university and non-university institutions under a unified organizational framework while preserving the autonomy of its individual members. Its primary mission is to foster collaboration that benefits all participants. The Kolleg initiates, organizes, and coordinates research, educational programs, exhibitions, and related activities focused on the history, culture, languages, politics, and societies of Eastern Europe from the early modern period to the present.

We maintain strong partnerships with institutions across Eastern Europe, actively involving experts and organizations from the region in our initiatives. Promoting international dialogue and cross-border collaboration is a core principle of our work.
